On last Sunday i have record my screen using kazam tool. Unfortunately the recording is not stopped properly and hence it generated two different files namely 1. kazam_sslv91zf.movie.mux with 649.4 MB (649,396,224 bytes) and 2. kazam_sslv91zf.movie with 0 bytes .
These is very important due to research progress meeting recording.
Please help me to play this file having extension .mux.
The .mux file is a Matroska container file that contains the video and audio data of your screen recording.
The 0-byte file is a placeholder file that Kazam creates when it is interrupted during a recording.
To play the .mux file, you will need to use a media player that supports Matroska files. Some popular media players that support Matroska files include:
- * VLC Media Player
- * MPC-HC
- * PotPlayer
Once you have installed a media player that supports Matroska files, you can open the .mux file by double-clicking on it. The media player should then start playing the video and audio data from the file.
If you are having trouble playing the .mux file, you can try converting it to a different format. A popular format for screen recordings is WebM. You can convert the .mux file to WebM using a free online converter such as Zamzar or CloudConvert.
Once the .mux file has been converted to WebM, you can open it with any media player that supports WebM files.
Here are the steps on how to play the .mux file using VLC Media Player
- 1. Download and install VLC Media Player.
- 2. Open the .mux file by double-clicking on it.
- 3. VLC Media Player should start playing the video and audio data from the file.
- 4. If the video is not playing, you may need to adjust the playback settings in VLC Media Player.
